Possible blighted ovum

So apparently I'm 6 weeks 3 days today.

Last week I went in to get an ultrasound expecting be be 6 weeks 4 days, but all they could see was this. No sign of embryo or heart beat.

They said there is no sign of a baby or heart beat. They said I probably ovulated late and that I'm a week earlier than expected. So I'm supposed to go back this week to check and see if there is a living embryo. Has anyone had this happen to them and everything was fine? Looking for some hope. Im scared its a blighted ovum..
