Got blood test at hospital and this happened? 😰💉

Is this normal? I got a blood test in the emergency room, I’m currently 26 weeks pregnant and when she put the needle in it really hurt and wasn’t the usual place I get poked at.. 
My arm hurt a lot and the following day or so it hurt so bad moving it I was like let me check why and I see my arm completely bruised 😓

I was told by a nurse that if you tense your muscle whilst getting an injection it can cause bruises. But to be honest that looks like a strange place to get an injection!

they did a lousy job and blew out the vein. you'll be fine but it'll be sore and ugly for a few weeks

This always happens to me too, I bruise terribly.

Ouch yeah both my arms looked like this when I gave birth to my son because they couldn't find a vein. Four nurses against my veins. I cried.

I bruise as soon as possible though like everything turns blue.
