Does is sound like a scam?

Hi. So I️ am trying to sell my camera online. The website is just a local thing for only my state. I️ got a text from someone saying that they would pay full price plus 100 dollars for shipping but they live in New Jersey. They asked if I️ had a PayPal they can send me money on and I️ don’t. I️ asked if I️ could let them know tomorrow because I️ find it kind of odd that they live in New Jersey when the website is only for those that live in my state which is across the country. Does this sound like a scam or a genuine offer.
