Which was worse for you (for those who have had both)?

I had an emergency c section with my son and I wanted to do a VBAC. But Vaginal Birth terrifies me 😦 Which healing and experience was worse for you?

Just had my VBAC Monday! Csection is DEFINITELY worse. Not the procedure itself, but the pain and recovery is of no comparison.
I’m only using Tylenol and I tore. I’d take a vaginal birth over a csection any day!

the c section I had with my son was super traumatizing, and it took me like 4 or more months to fully heal like the pain and such and I was so depressed. the vaginal birth I had with my 1st was awesome, I just had bleeding and like tightness from the stitches and am that was soooo much less painful then the c section. I'm due in June and I'm planning on a vbac birth and I hope everything goes well.

I have had 1 cesarean and 2 VBACs.
I know I am the minority here, but my first VBAC was worse than my cesarean. She broke my tailbone on the way out and I had a 4th degree tear. Recovery was BRUTAL.
My second VBAC was much better. 2nd degree tear and no broken tailbone. I’m 2 weeks postpartum and feel pretty good minus the itchy stitches.

Two sections here. Recovery wasn’t awful, few days and I was back to normal. Day 5 and I was cleaning and climbing stairs multiple times a day.

C-sections are 1000× worse! The recovery from vaginal was a piece of cake. I could walk an hour after giving birth without worrying about my insides falling out if I coughed or sneezed. I'll take stitches on my coochie over an abdominal cut any day!

they were comparable.  episiotomy stitches were equally uncomfortable as my csection.
