What are the intervals for ultrasounds.

I just scheduled my 8 week scan, and was wondering after that how often do they typically do scans? Had a chemical last September so pretty anxious to make sure everything is ok with this one!

I don't know what it is for everyone, but both of my sister's and cousin get one at about 12 weeks, then again at 18-22 weeks and no more after that. I get them regularly because I'm high risk, because of my short cervix.

I had 3 total my last pregnancy...8 week bedside transvaginal, NT scan @ 12 weeks, anatomy/gender scan @ 20 weeks

Our doctors office only does two at 8-9 weeks and 20. Unless they have trouble seeing something, then they’ll do another, which happened to me.

It depends on where you live (insurance coverage) and risk factors.  In NA, it seems like 12w and 20w are standard.   You'll typically only get one earlier and later if you went through fertility treatment or have known risk factors or issues during the pregnancy.
