I'm a new mommy would like to know if I'll have to wash my baby new clothes before putting it on him I know there skin is very sensitive ?

Many new clothes are sprayed with chemicals to keep bugs(!) away, wrinkles away, to feel soft, etc. I'd wash those first.

Just because they're "new" and not "worn" yet doesn't mean you shouldn't take precautions and wash them. Sometimes things spill during transport/shipment, not everything is always sealed up. Some dyes require washing so their little skin doesn't absorb it. You've created a precious gift, why take a chance of losing it?

I think it's personal preference; there is no "have to." I washed mine because I like the smell of baby laundry and it was part of getting his nursery set up, for me, but there's really no rule saying you do or do not have to!

You wash your new bed sheets before using them right? SOMETIMES I won't wash a blouse or something before I wear it, but I know baby's skin will be a lot more sensitive than mine is. You just never know what's come into contact with store bought items and how your baby's skin will react.

You dont need to these days... I didnt wash any of my LG's. We both had to stay jn and she was 5 weeks early... had to put what people bought us. I dont plan to this time either. I would rather put new clothes on than washed.

Definitely. You don't know who's handled them and what they've had on their hands or where they've been... Starches, chemicals... Better to be safe than sorry!!!!

No you don't need to wash their clothes. I never with my little girl 4 years ago and am not this time to and am due in 2 and a half weeks.
