whats worse?

Having depression while pregnant or having to go 13 to 14 weeks without hearing or seeing your significant other?                                                        My boyfriend leaves for boot camp to be a Marine in February. its so hard because hes gonna miss 3 months of the baby growing.

I am an army wife. I haven’t dealt with boot camp while pregnant but I have dealt with JRTC. I cried and cried the first week. The next week, I got up one morning and decided no more. I kept myself busy. I read, binge watched, worked out, and focused on work. I also had serve depression and anxiety that was being treated by a counselor and also started DBT therapy which really helped me. When my husband was at JRTC I kept a journal. I kept a journal of what my baby was doing, my pregnancy symptoms, how I felt emotional and physically, etc. it really helped. Once my husband came back home we went out to dinner and talked about the past few weeks he had been gone. It really helped me. I don’t wanna be rude or sound mean but you have to get use to being alone. There will be many days and nights of being alone. Especially since the military doesn’t recognize girlfriends. Until you get married they won’t care. Also do you live near a base? If so usually around the bases they have support groups for girlfriends. I went to a few when I was dating my husband. It helped a lot and it made me see I was not alone.

It’s not as bad as it seems. It’s hard at first but once you start writing letters time flys.
I found out I was pregnant the day before my bf left for basic training for the Army. He missed out on the first 5 1/2 months of the pregnancy.  
I’m now 15 weeks pregnant with twins and a 11 month old. My boyfriend will be leaving on orders Monday, not sure when he’ll be back.
