When Does insurance usually kick in

Does insurance usually kick in 30,60, or 90 days after beginning to work for a company....I may be pregnant and I am currently applying for full time jobs because I have my career.... but I’m worried if I give birth at the beginning of next year or the end of this one I may not be insured 😳😳😳😳 I should start working full time in May.

Depends on the place.  We are first ifnthe month following date of hire and my husbakds was on the date of hire.
Ask that question when you get your job offer and start compensation negotiations as it will be a bargaining chip, if you have to wait 90 days you would ask for a higher salary or a larger sign on bonus in order to deflect some of the cost.

It just depends on the company. I’ve had jobs where the insurance kicked in on my first day of employment and jobs where I’ve had to wait 90 days. That is a good question to ask during your interview.
