My lips are super dry all the time. I can never apply lipstick cause they always look so bad.
Is it cause i have permanately damaged my lips having too much sun?!
Any advice ladies?

Most lipbalms contain an ingredient which causes the top layer of skin to peel off, meaning you need to keep using it. You’re better off making an oil and sugar lip scrub yourself, there’s recipes on the Internet and they leave your lips lovely and soft! You can also just use a standard moisturiser on them... it is just skin, after all. (Just don’t lick it off haha!)

exfoliate! Coarse sugar in some coconut oil and scrub them until they are silky smooth.
use Vaseline on them too, it keep in any moisture they might have

I use carmex... I've tried the lip balms, lipsmackers, blistex, chap ice, chapstick, Vaseline intensive care lip therapy, Aquafina lip therapy, products containing cocoa butter and shea butter... I've tried lip gloss. Nothing has ever worked for me like a good ol tub of carmex, and you know... I have thyroid disease so, my lips stay dry all the time. Carmex is my lifeline. So, you may want to get your thyroid checked if you haven't already, and/or make sure you don't have some type of underlying condition. Diabetes can also cause dry mouth and lips. It could just be sun exposure too... but try the carmex. As I said, it's been a real life saver!

Try coconut oil? Like the one used for cooking. I try to put coconut oil on before bed and then in the shower the next morning i exfoliate them, works a treat
