Bad piercing?

Question

Why do I have this little bubble looking thing at the top of my industrial piercing? I got it pierced profesionally about a month ago. Although I got it pierced a while ago, it's still sore up at the top. I'm positive it's because my fiancé would always forget that id have it and he'd always accidentally hurt it. Any ideas?

You should also  have a straight bar with a little room to move back and forth when you clean it. Trust me I have 20 body piercings and it only happens to my industrials. Don't wait to long or it will get infected and keloid up.

When I got my cartilage pierced it did the exact same thing. For me it was a little build up of puss. I kinda had to squeeze it like a zit to get the puss out (gross I know). And then I would just clean really well. It has happened a couple times since I got it pierced but it hasn't gotten super infected or anything to a point where I have to take it out completely. If anything maybe go into the place you got it pierced and ask them about it.

Buy Bactine from Rite Aid or any drug store that sells it...ask pharmacist. I have both my industrials done and the first couple of years that would happen on and off. Just keep putting it on there until it goes down ☺

I heard these take forever to heal!
My cartilage took forever and years later it's finally healed but it did have a puss bubble at some point and I had to take it out I was surprised it didn't close

Scar tissue is my guess. That happened to my mom... she had to take the piercing out and let it close up to stop hurting.

Is that the bar they used when they pierced it? I had a bump like that on mine and it just went away on its own.

To me it looks like you body is rejecting it that's the same thing mine did if you don't take it out soon your skin will grow back together over it
