Ttc with no luck

My husband and I have been try for 6 months now with no luck at all. Today he made a statement that just broke my heart and brought my spirits down. He said maybe God doesn’t want us to have a baby. I hope that’s not true. I’m praying he blesses us 😭 But I don’t understand why he wouldn’t we are married and he has a child from the past with a homosexual woman why would God want that and not one for us within our marriage. Those words really hurt and shattered me. Please pray for my situation and any positive feedback would be so appreciated. Thanks ladies😢
