Who has done a chemical peel?

I’m thinking about doing one , they look so nasty but the after looks amazing. 
Also is there any drugstore chemical peels?

yes professional chemical peels are good for skin but not tooo often. describe mr ur skin and i will tell u exact which one toget and also your age. sometimes esthetician make shit up to do more treatments so they can make more money. iam an esthetician my self i always been honest with clients

I started getting them done at a medical spa three months ago.  I just finished my series of 6 last night (you get 1 every 2 wks for 3 months).  I don’t have acne but I had some fine lines and weird skin texture in a few spots.  The first was a lactic acid peel and I didn’t peel just had a shiny face the second was a moderate but with only 1 layer I got red and peeled around my mouth.  The next 3 were moderate with 2-3 layers and I peeled a lot from them ...the one last night was a mild w/Salicylic acid peel ( she said my face was good and not needing the strong kind) and now I’m all red and blotchy today.  I will now go monthly for peels since I did the series of 6.  My esthetician told me to try dermaplaning in 2 wks she said it is great and gets rid of any spots and fine lines and that she thinks if you alternate dermaplaning with peels you will have great skin.  Once I do this one I will probably do dermaplaning one month and a peel the next month and so on.  I am 34 and ppl usually think I’m in my mid to late 20s (prior to my peels).  I ask my family if my skin looks better and they just say brighter??? I think it takes weeks for them to take full effect.  I never used any good moisturizer on my face I used to just put queen Helene’s cocoa butter all over my body and face lol.  Now I bought Chanel hydration moisturizer we and am about to buy skinceuticals vitamin c and e and and skinceuticals eye cream.  I use cheap cerave cleanser bc it goes down the drain but I will buy a good toner also.
