No period on Depo?!!

Hey loves!!

I got the Depo about two weeks ago. I got married five days later and of course we started having sex. Now my period is a week late. Anyone else experience this on the Depo shot??

I have never been on it but I have heard that it's normal for your period to become irregular and eventually disappear when your on the Depo shot.

If you plan on ttc in the next 18 months-24 months then I would get off of it ASAP. I just got married and am switching to implanon (nexplanon) because it typically takes 3 months for women to conceive after removal. I have a hard time with pills so that's a big no for me.

It took me almost a year before I stopped spotting on it. But eventually you will stop all together. I stared having a period 6 months after ending it.

I was on it 1.5 years it stops your period altogether. Took 7 -8 months toget it back. Then a full year to ovulate and have a regular period. I'll be 2 years off of it in Oct. 4 months of the pill. And I'm having periods and ovulating. I know some bleed the entire time they use the shot.

I was on depo for 3 years an I NEVER had my period! And even after coming off it took 6 months before I got mine.

I was on depo and while I was on it I didn't get a period until it was almost time for my next shot. Some women didn't get their periods at all while on depo.
