What should I do?

Trying to make this long story short:

So I know this girl, she is a friend of my ex-boyfriend and they also have a kind of ‘history’ together. Anyhow, for some reason she always was dodging me at partys and she was telling people she didn’t like me. I thought it was about her liking my boyfriend at the time)

For 3 years I thought she hated me, and my ex-bf knew. 3 weeks ago he massaged me about her. It turns out she was really intrested in me, and that I was the first girl she liked in that kind of way! Besides that I’m really flattered, I often think about her. I don’t know her that well but in the past we could get along well and she is crazy beautifull.

She doesn’t know that I know this, and I met her at a party like a week ago, and she was still trying to dodge me (I had not seen her in ages)

I would love to give it a try but the situation won’t let me atm.

Any tips?!
