Stood up..?

Please bear with me as this might be long, but I would love to hear what you ladies think.

So I’m friends with this guy J, we had made plans for Saturday to drink together. We were going back and forth on snap trying to decide what I wanted to drink, when he says “hey, I really like you, would you want to hook up tonight?” I was happy cause he’s really cute and I like him, so I said yea. He said okay, he’ll be over around 8 with everything I said okay. 8 o’clock rolls around and he snaps me that he was roped into a soccer game with the boys, ok fine not a big deal. I hit him up at 11 saying “ hey are we still hanging out”, he hits me up an hour later saying “yea sorry, was out getting food, will be back on campus shorty” I said “lol okay! Lmk when your here so I can let you in”. 2:30 rolls around and I still haven’t hear anything from him and he left me on open. So at that point I was pissed and just went to sleep.

Did he stand me up?(I get the feeling that he had cold feet)

Should I snap him asking him what happened last night or should I wait for him to explain himself?
