Ectopic?

Ectopic pregnancy symptoms please? How do you know if your having an ectopic pregnancy? I’m pregnant and only known a few days but I’ve been really crampy (only on left side) I did have a miscarriage on 16th November 2017.
Could it be possible I’m having a ectopic pregnancy or is it cos of my recent miscarriage? Could I be possibly carrying twins/multiples I’ve never been this crampy before or not that I can remember with rest of my pregnancy’s. 🤔😐

I had 0 symptoms until it ruptured and I started bleeding internally which felt like being gutted alive. Cramps are normal when they're mild to moderate. Anything more than moderate I'd go in for, even if it's not ectopic it could be another problem.

I’m obviously not a dr. & you should still get checked out for peace of mind, but I had cramping too from when I first found out until about 6-7 weeks, mostly on one side. Nothing severe though! Felt like period cramps almost. It wasn’t ectopic and I’m now 12 weeks! I understand your worry, but cramping is normal also... so it’s stressful!

If you do a scan at week 6 or 7, the doctor should be able to confirm that the baby is in the uterus not the tubes though right?

My pain with my ectopic was odd. I didn’t think it was ectopic bc it wasn’t isolated to one side, it was all over. But the biggest sign was bleeding, and one night I couldn’t fall asleep because of a sharp pain in my shoulder. That should have clued me in. Internal bleeding manifests as shoulder pain. I went in to the dr bc of the bleeding (bright red) and that’s how they ultimately figured it out. They had been monitoring my HCG levels which strangely were totally normal. Just pay close attention to your body and don’t feel silly for calling. My husband made me go in that day i had bleeding and probably saved my life.

My sister didn't realize until it almost killed her. She ended up going to the hospital and they said if she had waited even an hour later she would have died. She had to have both her ovaries removed.
