Movement slowed down ????

38 +2 and my baby was always moving all day every day. Big rolls , small rolls , kicks everything. Moving so much I never had to do kick counts. The past two three days I’ve only felt small inconsistent movements. Maybe she has less space ?? Or “babies slow down @ end “ a myth ???

Apparently babies slowing down is a myth.. I’d phone the dr and see what they suggest. I know id be concerned if my baby slows down, as like yours, mine is constantly on the move.

I just went to Labor and delivery to monitor my baby because I felt the same way. What they tell you at the hospital is that if she doesn’t necessarily have to kick but any movement is good because of less space. They told me 10 movements within two hours or less is perfect but any less or if it takes longer you have to go to L&D; ASAP. Oh and they said hiccups don’t count.

Have you done your kick counts? Your baby does run out of room towards the end of the pregnancy. Which can cause the kicking to be less. As long as you do the kick counts and you have at least 10 kick in a hour you’re fine.

I was in labor and delivery a few days ago for this. They told me movements slow towards the end. 5 movements in an hour is normal. I’m 38 weeks 3 days today.

I’ve been experiencing this for the past few days. I downloaded a kick counter app (it has a contraction timer too) to help me count.

Definitely don’t believe the babies movements slow down thing towards the end 🙄...
Decrease in movement should be monitored ALWAYS. 
I know too many women who realized they had decrease in movement for a day and had to have emergency c sections the next. Always better safe than sorry 💓
