I need your opinions

Karyn

My husband and I couldn't wait to get pregnant and last January we finally did. He was amazing throughout the pregnancy minus the little bumps here and there that most couples have. My daughter was born late October and things are great but seemed different. Now we seem to be getting more and more distant. I know we love one another but the cuddles, and cute lovey comments just aren't there anymore.

Almost as if the fire needs a little help with the spark. Has anyone else gone through this. We both have older kids, my daughter is 19 and my step son is 16 so this is pretty much all new to us. I don't feel attractive not because of my husband but due to the weight gain, I know this may be tmi but we have only been intimate twice since the baby was born due to having an IUD placed and unfortunately one of the symptoms is heavy bleeding. I just need thoughts/opinions and to see if there are others currently undergoing the same thing or already have!

me and my husband went through this, things will get back to normal after a couple months..and infant is alot of work and also your emotions are still out of wack so you may be thinking the worst when really it will be ok...just make sure you voice these things to him and talk about it...men don't really know what a roller coaster of emotions having a baby puts us through.

My partner and I also went through this. We eventually came out the other side after a few months. It was this big high when she was born and we were so strong together, then came the bickering and distance and now we're back to being our usual selves. Give yourselves time to adjust 😊

Completely agree with this! We went through the same thing! It’s a tough adjustment to have a new little one! My daughter is now almost a year and things are back to Norma. The first several months are really tough!
