I had a wonderful birth experience in a birthing center and have a delightful 2.5 week old little girl. I never had trouble with hemorrhoids during my pregnancy, but developed two external hemorrhoids during delivery. I had some minor tearing that required stitches, and that area feels pretty darn good now, however I can't seem to get rid of the hemorrhoids. I have tried Tucks pads, sitz baths with Epsom salt, prep h ointment, and even coconut oil. Every time I think they are getting better, I use the restroom and they are swollen and uncomfortable again. Will I ever have any relief? I just want to enjoy my perfect little baby without my butt feeling like it is going to fall off!!
