Signs and symptoms of polycystic ovaries ?

I'm not sure if I have it or not I know my ob sent me for sonogram because I was getting frequent periods but I assume it was stress he put me on bc temporary to regulate it and I'm coming off it . Just curious of what symptoms some ppl who have been diagnosed have experienced ? Frequent periods ? Or is it the opposite ?

My dr told me about 7 years ago I had it but I was always late. He also said the hormone imbalance with this is why I have had trouble with my weight.  A lot of women who have it can have trouble getting pregnant or carrying to term. I have been very lucky to have 2 healthy babies still. To help it my dr had me on metformin and a bc pill for about a year or so until I tried to get pregnant.

Hey thanks for replying I'm always reading and self diagnosing myself . I do get my periods and I do ovulate I wouldn't know about the conceiving part as yet but will find out in a month. I'm paranoid .

The doctor told me I might have it 2 years ago. I go next week to be diagnosed for real if I do. Symptoms can include:
Irregular or absent periods
Acne or oily face, dandruff 
Weight gain, mainly in the hip area
Failure to ovulate
Failure to conceive or carry to term
Heavy periods
Male pattern baldness or thinning hair
Increase hair growth in chest, face, thumbs, toes, back and stomach
These are just some of the symptoms my doc told me about that signify pcos. Unfortunately I have all but 1 so that's why she thinks I have it. Good luck!
