Anyone else tired of these hairdressers?

So I needed a hair cut today.. haven’t had a hair cut since before my daughter was born and booked an appointment at this new salon I heard was really good cause I needed a confidence booster. I came in today to get my hair cut, told her I just wanted 2 inches cut off so I could get rid of a LITTLE bit of these split ends. I already knew this was a bad idea because when she went to brush my hair with the comb she was brushing my hair so hard I could feel my hair yanking out literally. Usually my old hairdresser sprays something in my hair before combining it gently. Finally when she was done, it was time to cut my hair. I was sad cutting off only 2 inches because it took me forever to grow my hair long due to having a vitamin D deficiency and postpartum hair loss. But hey, cutting off these split ends will only make it grow longer and healthier. So I was ready.

So about 15 minutes go by and I’m wondering what’s taking so long.. just a few minutes later she hands me the mirror so I could see the back of my hair and I almost had a break down.. she cut off 6 inches when I only said 2.. and her reasoning was because she thought my hair would look better and healthier this way. My hair wasn’t even really that damaged in the first place.. now I can’t stop looking in the mirror and feeling so angry by how disrespectful it was for her to do whatever she wanted with my hair and completely ignoring what I wanted. Now I just spent 45$ on a haircut when I don’t have money to be throwing around in the first place. And I don’t care how wrong it is, but I didn’t even tip a dollar. Anyone else have an experience like this before?
