Question

I have a 7 year old daughter whom I cherish with every bone in my body. I am so thankful God gave her to me. My question is am I an awful Christian woman for questioning him on why he won't bless me with another child to love? My husband and I have been TTC for a little over 6 years now. Also am I awful for questioning him on why he gives these horrible people children that obviously can't take care of the blessing they are given? Is God punishing me for questioning him???

I just had a miscarriage and I'm getting impatient TTC #2 so I know what you feel like. I try not to look at it as God is "punishing" me. I know He loves me more than I can ever grasp. I have to remind myself that He knows what's best for me and when it's best for me. He's always proven it in the past ☺

This does not make you an awful Christian woman. It makes you human! Keep praying for that baby, but maybe also pray for peace in your heart in the meantime. His timing is perfect. God bless!

No. I feel the exact same way I've been ttc for now 18 months not even once have I had a positive pregnancy test. I'm only 22 and people around me who are on drugs and live off the government have all kinds of kids, but I will continue to pray for the time

I think it's normal for us to have weak moments and be mad and/or question "him" I'm kinda going through a same faze for separate reasons. And I take a lot offense when people try to press their beliefs on me I figure it my relationship with the man upstairs and we'll work out on our time. And I trust you will too.

This is exactly how I feel, except we have been trying for almost 2 years. I too often feel like maybe I'm being punished for questioning him and being angry at him at times for not blessing me with another child that he knows will be perfectly taken care of in every single way and loved to no end.

You are not awful. Those are natural emotions. Instead of focusing on what you should or shouldn't do, why don't you focus on getting to know God more and who he is. He loves you so much and wants the absolute best for you. We live in broken bodies and there could be any number of reasons why you can't get pregnant. It could be because the Lord doesn't want you to right now or it could be because of the brokenness of this world. God is not as fickle as we are. He doesn't respond to us like we would to other people. If it helps, my pastor and his wife have tried for kids for 8 years! That includes adoption and nothing has ever worked. They have just had to trust God and realize they don't know what His plan is for their life. Hang in there, I know this can be painful and it is ok to grieve.

I feel the same way I've been TTC #1 for 15 years now I have seen many drug addicts and people who can only handle one child end up with six kids.  It depressing but I try to keep faith and remember that God is in control and He wouldn't give us anything we can't handle this is just a test.  I know it's harder than anything.  But keep smiling
