How do you deal?
We are starting IVF process this month (on BC now, shots in a week or two) and I’ve had a hard time accepting that this is going to be out path. We found out that I have severe Endo a month or two ago and the dr is worried I don’t have much time if we want to have a baby due to the impact of endometriosis on my ovarian reserve. So everything is sped up quite quickly...faster than my emotions, if that makes sense.
I find I’m okay with my journey when I’m dealing with it as our experience to have kids...but find I REALLY have a hard time when I am finding out friends are pregnant and a number of baby shower invitations (4 next month!). Then all of a sudden it’s hard on me and I’m no longer chill about it.
I want to be happy and supportive of all my friends but it’s a really hard for me right now and I’m torn on how to deal with their happy times.
Question for you all as you go through
IVF and advanced fertility issues: does anyone else experience the same? How do you cope? Do you go to the showers, etc or do you not, and give yourself the space you need?
Thanks in advance! Not many people understand what this is like so I appreciate hearing your input. ❤️
