My DIY boudoir shoot
*Update* Thank you for all the love! I am very surprised and pleased at how they turned out. I love taking pics and have been recently thinking about taking some photography courses... maybe I should get into boudoir photography. 🤔
A few of you asked about the lingerie... it was purchased at lace.ca.
For those of you asking for tips, I'm not a photographer but here's what's worked for me...
* I used my Samsung S7
1. Natural light if possible. I own a childrens clothing brand and when I take product shots I always turn all the lights off in the house otherwise the pics aren't as crisp, have lots of shadows and are usually too warm. I did the same thing here. It also helps that my house is very bright as the light bounces off the walls and reduces shadows.
2. Use a timer on your camera/phone.
3. Backgrounds that are clean and not busy. The less you have behind you the better as it just takes away from the main focus...in this case you. I usually have a paintijng hung behind me on the wall above my couch but I took a few tests shots and noticed the painting was taking awaay from the photos so I took it down. Made a big difference.
Hope that helps. ☺
