ex wanting to get back together (edited )

i have posted about this before so sorry ex wanted to go see his friend on new years when I wanted to spend it with me (when we were together ) So broke up because he kept choosing this friendship with this girl over me. but he keeps saying he loves me and wants to work on us and stuff but idk I love him but I think he will keep choosing her over us.. update he did the same thing over, didn't tell me he was hanging with the girl but spent most of the night with her...now the other guy I use to hook up with before my ex wants to try and be in a relationship and it's weird...idk
