When water breaks naturally does it feel and sound like a water balloon popped?

My first pregnancy the doctors broke my water and it felt/sounded like a water ballon popped. Is this normally for women who had their water break naturally at home or doing what ever?

I can remember a huge gush, like a balloon pop. I thought I peed myself. My baby was delivered shortly after at 7lb

I had my water broke at 4cm and I don't remember a sound or even feeling it pop just the awesome gush of fluids cuz I was laying down and every time I puked or had a contraction I would feel more fluid gush out. I'll have I pay attention this time to see if I can feel it or hear it :-)

When my water broke with my son there was no gush just a light leak. The best way I can describe it is when you turn your sink on and it's a small line that is constantly coming but is very slow that is what mine was. However when I had my water broke with my daughter it was the gush of fluids that felt as if j was peeing and had no control.

I was induced at 6 am when I was on my way to the hospital I was feeling really weird I got there and as soon as I lay down my water broke lol I didn't hear no noise or anything like that just water coming down like a pee

Sort of... More like the cracking of a joint. Mine started as a dribble... Became a gush.

My water broke with my first, I was sitting on the floor and got up to start changing clothes and I lifted my leg and water start trickling out, I thought I peed on myself lol, but it kept coming out, by the time we got to the hospital which was about 30mins away I got out the car and water was splashing out, and every step I took, it made more water come out.
