Do you take baths with your LO?

My son is 7 weeks old and I wanted to see if anyone thinks that he's too little to bring in the bath tub with me? May be a silly question but oh well 😅

I really don’t know how anyone is able to take a bath with their little one. We tried when she was a month or two months and she was so slippery I was scared I was going to drop her so we didn’t try again until she could sit up. She still didn’t seem very stable even with something under her to keep from sliding. I’ve tried holding her in the shower now at one and I can’t hold her and wash her at the same time and not feel like she’s gonna slip out of my grip or slip in the tub. SO I gave up. She bathes alone lol

My 3 month old HATES baths, but LOVES showers.... So we shower together! I wrap babe in a thin blanket to help keep warm (and for grip on the slippery little body) then just uncover one part at the time to wash.

we've always gotten in the bath with her. it's just safer for us, but we use a bath seat for her in the tub as well. We just don't have to reach across the wall of the tub if we get in too

I took my son in the bath with me at that age It was actually recommended to me by lactation we breastfeed in the bath because we were struggling so tried everything my son liked being in the bath with me and it calmed him

I started to once my baby was 5 months! She can mostly sit up on her own & likes to play with the toys in the big tub. :)

I put the infant tub in the bathtub and then I’ll get in too! So much easier than kneeling or sitting on the side of the tub.

lately I've been trying to start taking baths with her , while having her sit in her tub but it's so hard because now she moves around and tries to stand up. I tried a bunch before when she was 4 months but she was slippery & there's not much space for both of us in there. I find it a bit awkward 😂 but I say go for it , if you're able to shower w your baby more power to you! 😛

I took baths with my daughter from the time she was born. Never had a problem. Now that she sits up I have a bath chair that suction cups to the bottom of the tub and she sits in that while we bathe so I can actually clean myself too! She loves baths

8 months later and my son and I have showered together since his cord fell off.
