I wasn't picky I just wanted a healthy child because I had so many complications.

I definitely would love to have a boy,or boys, simply because I have heard all my life that boys aren't so dramatic and way easier to potty train (aim for the cheerios). Being a pre k teacher,I also see that boys don't need near as much "cute" clothing and accessories and won't freak out over a lost bow. I also just really want my husband's name to be carried on.

I feel that because of the way the world is I will be more afraid for a girls safety than a boys. I really don’t want to have to deal with those feelings.

I don’t think that’s really true. When I told people I was having a boy they were like oh, that’s great, your husband must be so happy. My friend was pregnant at the same time and when she told people she was having a girl, they lost their effing minds about how wonderful that was. I always thought I wanted girls but now that I have my boy, I am over the moon crazy in love with him and wouldn’t change a thing.
