Sharing a room with baby?

Currently I live with my father. We had planned on moving before the baby was born but it looks like we're going to need some more time to save money. I wanted a nursery for the baby but we have to do what we have to do and share a bedroom with the baby.

I'll be sharing a room with my toddler and newborn, a nursery is a luxury! Not everyone can afford one.

Nothing wrong with that. Ultimately a nursery is kind of a luxury item. Having your baby in your room will be a lot easier for nighttime feedings.

We had a nursery set up for my first- she didn't use it until she was almost a year old, and we only moved her to her own room because we wanted to give her a few months to adjust before her little brother or sister gets here (who will most likely sleep in our room for the first year.)

We have two spare rooms, and are choosing to hold off on a nursery simply because my husband and I  know the baby will share a room with us for probably the first year. I think it's very difficult to have a baby that doesn't sleep for most of the night in an entirely different room.

We will have a nursery down the track but for the first six weeks at least our plan is to have bub in the bassinet in our room (easier for night time feeds). My best friend had bub in her room for the first six months.

I've never had a nursery only a crib and I had my own place; I like my baby close by. Besides it gives you time to bond with baby!

Our DD shared a room with us til she was 6 months then moved to her room, she slept in her crib. She slept alone in her room til we moved in with my mom this past October, she's 12 and shares a room with her 7yr old brother.
He slept in a pack n play in our room for 4 months then we moved him to his room and his crib. 
This baby will share a room with us, sleeping in a pack n play, til it sleeps thru the night, because we don't have room anywhere else in the house for it.
