Veda pronounced as "weighda " in India has great significance and it means the principles one follows to achieve great things ! It's a very good name.. My nephews name is vedant..Veda is more apt for a girl

Makes me think of the movie My Girl. I love it. My son's name is going to be Thomas Jay (also My Girl reference). That isn't why we are naming him that just because of the movie though. They are both family names.

I have friend with a little girl named Veda. It's so caute and original. And it will carry her all through life. Some names just don't work when you get older. Veda works for any age group.
