Trusting and finding love again

In my past relationship I was abused everyday. I was cheated on, called names, beaten, and because of that I lost my baby at six months along. I am now in a new relationship and have been struggling very hard to open up and trust him. I find myself questioning him over again and scared that he is going to do the same thing. He makes me very happy and one day I hope he will be my husband. But how can I let the past go and fully be happy again? It's hard.
