Baby Dropping?

Ladies! First time mama here, 36w1d. Had my cervix checked yesterday, and nada- which I figured. I’m wondering if when baby girl drops, does it happen all at once, or a little bit at a time? I feel like the last few days she’s been trying to push herself down, and lower herself. 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe I’m just so hopeful I’m imagining things!

With my first I was 0cm at 36, 1cm, at 37, 1-2 at 38, and was 3-4 at 39 and was induced that day due to preeclampsia and she was itty bitty and came out in 3 pushes. I was 1cm at 36 this time, 37 week was cancelled due to ice storms, and 38 weeks I was 3cm.

My belly hasn’t dropped at all and I’m 2 cm 🤭 and a ftm so I was completely shocked that I even dilated

I always dropped in my 36th week. My first came at 40+1 weeks, my second came at 39 weeks, and my third came at 38 weeks. I’m 37+3 weeks with baby #4, and sure enough, I dropped right at 36 weeks. She’s so low it’s like a bowling ball between my legs, but I’ve been 2-3cm dated for 2 weeks with no change, so...🤷🏼‍♀️ she’s cozy in there!  It really can be any time!
