Early labor?!

Question

Okay so I'm 36+1 and just lost part of my mucus plug. My doctor told me she thinks I'll go a bit early and that she is totally comfortable with that as long as I made it this far. Soo my question is, I know they can regenerate if it's not time but what are more signs that directly followed for any of you mommas that went into labor shortly after? Besides contractions or your water breaking.

contractions and water breaking are the only 2 things that will get you admitted into l&d; for labor. I've lost my plug a few times, and have been slowly losing it for 2 wks (currently 37w4d). the waiting game sucks , haha so I understand the need for signs but those are the only 2 reliable ones

I’m wondering the same thing. My dr told me last Thursday my mucus plug was gone (i didn’t know) and verified this past Thursday that it was still gone. So idk when I originally lost it but I’m still waiting for labor to start 😞😞
