Is it okay to loose your virginity at 16 even if it isn’t legal?

I just recently lost mine at age 22. I was planning on waiting till marriage but decided to just go ahead and have fun. I say wait till you are older and have the means to provide for a child in case it happens. And also your mental/emotional state will be at a greater standing 😊

I was 18 (almost 19) when I lost my virginity. There were times when I was in high school and felt like I was ready to have sex. My high school boyfriend and I were so close to doing it so many times. We loved each other very much but I was too afraid. I didn’t know myself sexually and it all felt too rushed. This happened when I was about 16. If you’re prepared to prevent pregnancy (condoms and/or birth control) and you’re MENTALLY prepared for it and doing it with someone you can trust then go for it. You can ask for advice and others opinions, but at the end of the day only you know when you’re ready.
