I have been testing my FMU for 4 days with SurePredict hpt tests (10mIU sensitivity) getting a negative each time. Today AF was due. I tested once again, with a negative result.

When I used the bathroom late this afternoon, I had brown spotting. Thinking it was the beginning of AF, I went about my day. But later, I used the bathroom and the spotting was gone. I even tried to preform a CM check, thinking it would come out brown or red. It came back clear.

I tested again to be sure, with the same brand - negative.

I had a positive Opk on the 15th & 16th. Today is CD39.

I don't always ovulate on my own. I have PCOS and hypothyroidism. I also take progesterone for ten days after "ovulation" and AF always come the days after my last dose. I am not on clomid this cycle.

Could I have implanted late? Or is this just a botched cycle?
