membrane stripping?

Did a membrane sweep/strip work for any of you mommas get this and did it work? how long after did you start labor?

worked for me. Went I go labor 8 hours later

I was 39 weeks with a huge baby. was 1 1/2 centimeter 75% effaced. had it done and it was very unpleasant. still had to be induced a week later.

I got one at 39 weeks, then another at 40 weeks. I didn’t go into labor until 41+1.

I had a sweep at my 39wk appointment. I was 1cm and 80% effaced. I had light contractions the rest of that day, they got a little heavier the next day, then that night my water broke at 1:30am and I had him at the hospital at 8am. (Sweep was Thursday morning, gave birth Saturday morning)
