Would you travel for business at 33 weeks with GD?

I am about 30 weeks pregnant, have gestational diabetes, and recently my law partner asked if I could fly down to Florida to conduct some business there. I don't know if I feel comfortable traveling given how late in the pregnancy it will be and my condition. I will be asking the doctor this Wednesday, but assuming my doctor says its fine, would you travel (via plane)?

My doc said no air travel after 32 weeks on. No medical conditions or anything, just a best practice.

I'm traveling from ny to Vegas at 34 weeks for a work trip. My doc said stay hydrated and get up and walk around. I upped my seat to firsts class and am staying positive!

How long is the flight? The pressure changes are likely to do a number on you. Think: swelling.

I'm flying from the UK to Portugal at 31 weeks and will be 33 on the day we come back. It's for a holiday though.

Most airlines here say it is safe to fly up until 35 weeks with a singleton pregnancy with no other issues. 
If your diabetes is well controlled then it shouldn't be a problem.

You aren't even leaving the USA. If you had any problems, surely it wouldn't be a big issue to see a health professional down there?

Being that my daughter was born at 33 weeks 6 days and I had no medical conditions my whole pregnancy I would never chance it. Not saying that you will definitely go in to labor but I myself would just never chance it.

Airlines restrict travel as well as doctors & even though your doc says it's okay to travel the airlines won't..
