Too big for NB clothes?

Did anyone ever have a baby that when they were in the hospital didn't fit the clothes they had brought for them? I'm scared my baby will be too big to fit NB size (I know it's probably unrealistic but FTM anxiety)😂😂

My LO was almost 10 lbs at birth, and kinda long. We are both tall. He never fit in NB because of the length. Started with 0-3 right away.

my husband and his two brothers were all to big for NB. 
I'm bringing a NB and 0-3 outfit to the hospital.

Nope. My daughter was in NB for the first two weeks, and at 2 weeks, we had to size up to 0-3 because of her length. She's always been a very, very long baby lol

My oldest I took all 0-3 because everyone said “oh, you don’t need newborn!” then he was 6lbs 15oz and almost could have worn preemie. This is him in newborn clothes.

My second was a preemie, and he wore newborn until he was 3 months, and was wearing preemie at 6 weeks. 
My third came out 8lbs 12oz and still comfortably fit in newborn for almost a month.

Yeah I only took newborn size to the hospital and my 10 pounder never fit them haha. My SO had to drive home and get bigger ones when he was born haha

We expected a bigger baby with my last daughter but the Dr told me a week before delivery 8 lbs tops so we got a few newborn outfits for her but she was born 9 lbs 4 oz and 22.5 in so we had to go get some 0 to 3 months for her lol she's still my chunker. She outweighs all her older siblings by 5 to 10 pounds. She's 55 pounds and will be 3 in May but she's also tall

My son went straight into 0-3 months, he was only 7lbs and 9oz but he was a thick little thing, Nb sizes just didn’t fit.
