Not really sure who to ask about this. So I’m 27 weeks pregnant and I just recently moved down to Florida. I didn’t have Medicaid when I was back home in my old state bc I was on an actual insurance plan through my fathers work but that ended when I moved so I applied for Medicaid here in Florida but I’m not sure if they will accept it bc I’m not a resident of the state yet. Right now it’s pending but they are asking me for proof that I don’t have benefits in another state which I don’t have bc Ive never had Medicaid or any type of assistance. They are also asking me for proof that I don’t work at my old job which should be a little obvious since I don’t live there any more so I’m not really sure what they are wanting me to do bc I don’t have any type of verification for any of those the only thing I have is my last paycheck. I’m only needing pregnancy Medicaid bc I can’t currently work. Does anyone know how all of this works?
