Blood pocket/hickey on nipple? TMI

I exclusively breastfeed and this morning noticed this. I do sleep with my boobs out most nights and baby latches as he pleases. I’m thinking maybe he latched on this spot last night. 
Anyone else get this?? No idea if baby did it or something bad...

My daughter does this when she isn't paying attention. She just goes to town on the side of my nipple & gives me a hickey

I’ve never experienced anything like that. Might be worth getting checked out, just in case

That happened when my son was born. He wouldn’t latch right and ended up bruising my nipple. But you still may want to get it check out.
