My son had a fever a few days ago and was hysterical all day and when I took him to the doctor he had a double ear infection. The doctor asked if had been sick and said most of the time ear infections follow a cold. He hasn’t had a cold at all or been sick. My question is (I’m going to call his doctor in the morning) he now has a cough. He’s been on meds for his ears for 4 days now. My mom said it probably from drainage going in his throat is why he’s coughing. Anyone else experience this? He has no fever and is acting normal.
