Babies and Lice
I found nits in my daughter's hair last night after blow drying it. This is the third time I have found them in her hair. I know where it's coming from, our nieces and nephew. My dear sister-in-law thinks treating it once will solve the problem. Everyone knows you need to do an initial treatment and comb like crazy, then go back and treat a week later and comb again and keep combing until you find nothing. It has been a reoccurring problem almost every time her children come over to play or spend the night. I combed my daughters hair and picked out the nits I could find. I even combed my hair last night and this morning. I have asked my husband repeatedly to talk to her about the situation. He hasn't, he always gets his mother to do it. I'm fed up with it, no child should have to walk around with lice in their hair just because their parents are lazy and don't properly address the problem in the first place. They always blame the school for their children getting lice. Does anyone have suggestions on how I should address the issue?
