Has anyone heard of pregnancy gingivitis? 
I have a swollen gum around one tooth and bad breath and a weird taste in my mouth
I’m 6 weeks tomorrow and I’m so worried 😔

I’m a dental hygienist and yes that is very normal it’s usually due to all the hormone changes. Make sure your thoroughly brushing twice a day with a soft bristle tooth brush and floss! You can also by a mouth wash from your pharmacy one that contains chlorhexidine this is great especially for gingivitis use it here and there when your noticing your gums bleeding or swelling more than usual. Also see your dentist/hygienist for regular cleans all my pregnant patients I get them to come and see me every 3 months for cleans as preventive care.
