Sakura for a girl’s name (even though we’re not Japanese)
So we currently live in Japan and our baby will be born in a Japanese birthing center, which we’re really excited about. My husband loves the name Sakura, but I’m not sure. It means cherry blossom, and baby will be born during the cherry blossom season here, so for that reason I like it. I just wonder if it will be weird because we’re American and not Japanese. Thoughts?
