Avery as a boys name?

It is a boys name traditionally. I’m so frustrated that everyone wants to name their daughter Avery. 
That’s been our boy’s name forever and now I have people trying to convince me it’s actually a girl name 🙄

I like it for a boy, but it’s becoming so trendy for girls, so I probably wouldn’t name a boy Avery at this point.

It is being used a lot for a girl’s name these days but that’s also true of many “boys’” names, even traditionally male names like James and Noah. I don’t think it’s overly feminine so as long as you’re okay with it being a little more on the gender neutral side, I think it’s a great name for a boy.
