Alright ladies. I posted a month or so ago about buying our first home (you guys were awesome and I was able to figure everything out with your help). Well, now I have another question.

We found our dream house! It’s perfect, in a good neighborhood, good school district, below budget, everything. However, it’s a foreclosure. We put in our offer almost 24 hours ago and haven’t heard anything back. I know it can be a while for these, but we live in a smaller city in northeast Kansas and the house has been on the market for about 4 months (they don’t typically go too fast around here). We also offered their asking price. Several people have bought houses around here recently and have gotten answers back the next day or even sooner.

All that being said (asking price, area, time on market) do you think they’d snatch up our offer or keep waiting?
