Metformin cycle changes

Hi there!

I started Metformin for weight loss and fertility about a month ago maybe a little more. I started it mid cycle and my last period was normal. I have a shorter cycle - usually between 24-25 days like clockwork. I always ovulate in day 13-14.

This is the first full month on Metformin and not a sign of my period in sight - no spotting or anything. It’s only day 25 so I know it’s still quite early. I did test yesterday on a whim (I had a dream i got a bfp!) but I got a BFN...which wasn’t a shock.

I usually have day of spotting followed by a five day period but there’s been no hint so far. Mostly I’m wondering if anybody out there with shorter cycles and on Metformin had their cycle become longer? I ovulated on day 13 so that part didn’t change.

Did blood work last month and I do not have PCOS, just had a rather large vitamin D and Omega-3 Diffiency so I’ve also been taking vitamin d and Fish oil pills as well as adjusting my diet at my doctors instructions. We’ve been TTC for about 7 months now.
