I feel like if you’re having to ask others and you’re questioning if it’s okay, you should wait. I lost mine at 17 and I felt totally ready and happy. No question at all. I don’t regret it. BUT, if I did it with my first boyfriend, I would be filled with regret bc I wanted to have sex but I always questioned if I should or if I would be happy doing it with him my first time. Think about it more. You have plenty of time.

Since you’ve been with him for a year, y’all are covered under the Romeo/Juliet exception (or a name similar to that, I’m not sure anymore). That basically means that since you guys were together for a certain length of time before he turned 18 there’s no statutory limits.

if you know you want him to be someone you remember and have felt that way for a while go for it! just make sure to be safe (BC, condoms, etc) dont need a baby at 16 lol. also talk about it beforehand, what will happen if you do get pregnant, make sure you are comfortable, etc
