Is having a hospital tour worth the time?

I'm doing mine next Thursday I'm so excited, they're going to show me where everything is, where I'll be giving birth, where to clean baby's bottles or to find pads and stuff. It should be really good.

I did one. I got to meet the nurses, ask questions about things like kangaroo care, if I would get to give my baby his first bath, who I could have in the room, if I would be able to get up and move around, if I could deliver my own baby (sounds crazy haha but you can be the one to actually"catch" your baby). I asked other stuff too but don't remember what haha. I felt much more comfortable about my decision to have my baby where I'm having him.

Yes, we were able to pre register so that we don’t have to spend time filling out paper work and all then when we go in. Considering we’ve already made 2 trips to L&D;, it’s saved us a ton of time haha. Also it was good to get the run down of where to park, where to go, etc. It took away the fear of not knowing what to do or where to go when it’s go time.
