When did you decide to tell people you were pregnant?

Okay so me and my Fiance just found out were expecting. We're super excited and want to tell the whole world. but we know we shouldn't considering I'm only in my 4th week of pregnancy. We have decided to wait 3 months, but find it hard to not tell at least 1 person. I've suffered 2 early miscarriages before this pregnancy so I know I should wait. What is your advice to me? when did you decide to tell people?

I told people I knew I would need as support if I miscarried. there is no "supposed to". Tell people when feels right for you!

I’m waiting till 11 weeks when I get my first ultrasound. Before I got pregnant again, since we had a previous miscarriage, I had made my husband promise not to let me tell until after 20 weeks. Sitting at 4+4 now and I realized that just wasn’t going to happen 😂😂

we decided to wait until second trimester. I'm only 11 weeks and im not even sure I won't miscarriage. the fear of having to tell people in lost the baby makes me want to wait!

I’ve told people now at 5 weeks, I’ve lost a baby already at 24 weeks so in my mind I’m never ‘safe’ and I want a support system around me if things go wrong. I’m not with the dad either so I kinda need my friends to know what’s going on in my life or I’m pretty alone. I think it depends on the person and personally experiences

Firstly huge congratulations!!! 
Other than my husband, I told my two best friends (almost immediately!). And because we were going away with all of my in laws at 9-10 weeks we decided to tell all of our immediate family then because it would be completely obvious (constant morning sickness, not drinking etc, not to mention I was already ballooning!). I had always thought I would never want to tell before then due to the risk of miscarriage in the first trimester. Sadly (devastatingly) it was discovered at my 12 week scan that I’d had a missed miscarriage. It was awful having to tell our families. But I felt so much less alone because my/our grief and loss was acknowledged and supported by those who love us. So I would actually announce earlier again...hiding the excitement early on can’t prevent any grief that comes later.

I told my parents and my best friend (she was actually there with me while I peed on my fest test 😂) and then everyone at around 12 weeks. I knew that if I lost the baby before that I would have the support of the people closest to me. I think it’s up to every momma

I told my friend and coworker (who is also pregnant) before I even told my SO because I was so excited and I had to wait until after work to surprise him. I wasn’t even 4 weeks yet at the time lol
I wanted to tell my mom really early in a cute way (I was 19 when I got pregnant with my first so I just cried) but I ended up getting into a car accident at 5 weeks so we decided to wait until we saw the heartbeat at our 8 weeks ultrasound to tell my mom and his dad. We told the rest of our family around 14 weeks.
Just do what’s best for you, ask yourself whether they people that you’re telling early will be supportive in the case of a miscarriage or would they make it harder? Most of our families would have made it harder, or would have told everyone else, so we waited.

I also went through a miscarriage so this time around I really had no desire to tell people at all. When I found out I told my boyfriend and best friend and a few weeks later I told my mom. I didn’t tell the world until about 13 weeks, at that point I had 2 ultrasounds confirming that everything was okay. It’s all up to you and when you feel comfortable! Good luck and congrats ❤️
